Veneers

Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. They are commonly used in cosmetic dentistry to enhance the shape, color, size, or alignment of teeth.

Types of Veneers:

  1. Porcelain Veneers

    • Made from high-quality ceramic material.
    • Durable and stain-resistant.
    • Look very natural and last 10-15 years with proper care.
    • Require some enamel removal for placement.
  2. Composite Veneers

    • Made from tooth-colored resin material.
    • Less expensive than porcelain but not as durable.
    • Can be applied in a single visit.
    • More prone to staining and chipping.
  3. No-Prep Veneers (e.g., Lumineers)

    • Ultra-thin and require little to no enamel removal.
    • Less invasive but may not be suitable for severe cases.

What Veneers Can Fix:

✔️ Discolored or stained teeth that don’t respond to whitening.
✔️ Chipped, cracked, or worn-down teeth.
✔️ Slightly misaligned or uneven teeth.
✔️ Gaps between teeth.
